The core technology team focuses on appointments in the £50 - 150k range. Recently we have placed Project Managers, Analyst / Progammers, Business Analysts and Programme Office Managers.

Our core technology team is comprised of Darren Ball, Melissa Harding and Berta Lenzano.

Darren joined McCabe & Barton in May 2007 and brings over 12 years of experience recruiting technologists and managing large client accounts within the Investment Banking and Fund Management arena. Darren has placed individuals ranging from entry level Developer roles through to Application Support, Testers up to Technical Team Lead and Project/Programme Managers. Over the last 5-years, Darren has also enjoyed particular success in hiring Architecture roles at both the Enterprise and Domain level.

With 9 years of professional experience after graduating from the University of Manchester, Melissa joined McCabe & Barton in February 2008 after spending the previous 2 and a half years focusing on recruiting technologists into the Financial Marketplace. Melissa works as a lead consultant in the Core Technology team.

Berta joined McCabe & Barton in November 2007 and supports Darren Ball as a Researcher. She brings over 7 years of experience recruiting both in-house and externally and has recruited for a wide variety of roles within both the European and UK Financial market.
